My SEN Learning Resources is established in December 2009, located in Setia Alam, Malaysia. We supply educational tools as well as learning resources in the area of literacy, math, and special needs. We aim to create public awareness in the area of special needs as well as the benefits of learning through senses and play in the early years.
The management comprises of parents who believe in the Montessori method of education, which is child-centred, providing children the freedom to concentrate in self-directed activities under the observation and guidance of an adult. The method encourages the adult to "follow the child" by focusing on the child's interests when preparing the learning materials in order to make learning enjoyable for the child.
You are advised to seek professional advice from the relevant experts if you have a child with special needs. Depending on the needs, you can approach e.g. paediatricians (specialising in child development), psychologists, psychiatrists, speech therapists and occupational therapists.
